You guys!
While I have been knee-deep in knee rehab land and not really paying much attention to the daily stats of this humble little blog, something phenomenal has been happening.
And, in less than two weeks time, the odometer is going to hit 2 million page views for Test Kitchen Tuesday.
I don’t know about you, but that seems like a pretty big number to me. And, I’m humbled. The blog’s three year anniversary is coming up in 10 days, and it really looks like that magic 2 million number will be on the blog’s birthday (which also happens to be my actual birthday).
I can’t think of a better birthday present than to know that in just a few short years my little whim of a blog idea has proven itself and stuck.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you who leave me comments, pin my recipes to Pinterest (you’d think I’d do that, but I don’t…shame), and have joined my Facebook group. You are an amazing bunch of highly supportive folks, and I’m grateful for you every day.
I haven’t done a giveaway in a while, and it seems high time we give away something fun around these parts.
So, what’s it going to be? In the past, I thought giving away a Ninja Blender was the way to go, but then I realized 1) that reduces the amount of prizes I can afford to give and 2) you likely already have a Ninja Blender because that’s how most people find me.
That in mind, I decided to give away your choice from some of my current favorite foodie things. Look out, Oprah!
Here are the details:
Leave me a comment below with what you are thankful for this holiday season to enter. On Monday, November 25, I will pick 3 random winners to win their choice of one of the following:
- A six pack of my favorite coconut milk from Aroy-D (I would pick this one!!)
- A two pack of Nutiva shelled hemp seeds
- A six pack of Teecino tea bags
- A six pack of Dr. Kracker Seeded Spelt crispbreads
- One container of Natural Calm magnesium powder
These are all things I love and use frequently, so I know they’re good stuff. Hopefully there is something on that list that interests you.
Leave a comment to enter. No big hoops to jump through or other requirements to meet. It’s my small way of thanking you for your interest, your support, and your kindness to me as I have built this blog.
I’ll be back next week with a new recipe, but in the mean time, have a great week!

I’m grateful to be healthy, with wonderful family around me, and a warm home to live in. Thanks for all your work Angela!
Congratulations!! You do have a great web page and I enjoy it so much. Looks like everyone else is in on it, too. You keep getting better and I will keep reading and trying your recipes!
Congrats on the 2 million views! What an awesome accomplishment! Your posts continue to encourage me.
This holiday season I am thankful for my daughter! She is a big reason of why I decided to get on my health kick and even though she is only 7 years old, she had taught me (and continues to do so) a lot about who I am.
First I would like to say Happy Birthday to a fellow Scorpio!
There are a couple Scorpios in my family, my sister (11/11), my mom (11/21) and myself (11/21 – yes same as my mom’s).
I haven’t been as active in comments or even with my own blog as I would like to, but life took over. I am thankful for my family, especially my wonderful; supportive husband and our 3 daughters. I am extremely thankful for our health, especially with the issues we have had in the past few years. I am thankful that both my husband and I have jobs, and that they are jobs we enjoy and allow us to pay the bills, feed our family and occasionally do something fun.
Congrats & keep up the great work!
This Thanksgiving I’m thankful to have a decent job with decent insurance so I cN care for & provide for my family.
Congratulations and Happy Birthday from another Scorpio (11/11)!! I am thankful for my daughter who helps me out a lot!!
Congratulations, and Happy Birthday! I’m thankful for many things, not the least of which is my health, I’ve came a long way in the last two years, lost a lot of weight, got off of insulin and a ton of pills I had to choke down daily. Life is not perfect, but when I think of everything going on in this old world, I have no complaints. My heart goes out to all those suffering loss, grief, and pain; and not just man, but all God’s creatures.
Wow, Laura K., you go girl! Your story is fantastic and I’m so thrilled for you for your progress! You are setting a great example for everyone in your life – nice job.
