So You Got a Ninja Blender for Christmas, Now What?

Did everyone have a good holiday? We certainly did, and for some unknown reason, the sun decided to make a rare appearance in Seattle – a miracle indeed.

If you’re new to the site, welcome!

Historically speaking, December 26 is the busiest day around the halls of Test Kitchen Tuesday as folks that received some variant of a Ninja Blender try to figure out what the heck to do with it, and Google, Bing, and Yahoo! point you in my direction.

Awesome! I’m glad you’re here!

  • Merry Christmas to you, Angela.

Do you plan on getting the newest lineup from Ninja? Specifically the Ninja Duo with Auto iQ?

  • Hi Jon,

You know, I haven’t really thought about it to be honest. Ninja has started making so many products that it’s hard to keep up with them. I’ll do a little poll on my Facebook page and see if there is enough demand to warrant trying it out.

I am always open to guest reviewers, though. ?

  • Hi Angela,
I have enjoyed your blog for a couple of years now, anxiously waiting for Tuesday to read what you have come up with.
However, I must say that I don’t care for the Getty Images. It is intrusive and annoying. Sorry!

    • Hi Cynthia,

Thank you for the feedback. I sometimes pull images from Getty when I don’t have anything on hand, because they started a royalty free program for bloggers, but I can certainly find an alternative. I’m curious – what does it do when you get it in email? (From my perspective, I only see what it does on the webpage, which is just insert the picture).

      Thanks!

      • It gives me a blank screen with pull downs that want everything from me to sign me up, and I don’t want to sign up for just anything!
Thank you for your reply Angela. I appreciate it.
I sometimes wonder how people view our website also, and always welcome feedback to make it more user friendly…and sometimes I can!

        • Wow, Cynthia, I had no idea! I will find a free image alternative in the future. I try to use my own photography if at all possible, but sometimes need stock photos. I used to use free images from Microsoft Online when I needed them occasionally, but they shut their service down around the time Getty offered up free image rights for bloggers. I guess nothing is really “free!”

          Thanks for the feedback!
          Angela
