Random Friday Updates

Happy Friday! It is a bright, sunshiney, crisp day here in Seattle, a rare winter treat indeed.

It’s been a busy week, so I have a lot of ideas swirling around in my head that I haven’t put to virtual paper yet. But, I wanted to check in with a few updates.

  • If you haven’t entered my 1 million page views giveaway, you have until 7:59 a.m. PT on Monday – there will be three winners, so drop over there a leave me a comment with your favorite healthy foods. I’ll announce the winners by end of day Monday and get your prizes out to you.
  • For those that have entered the giveaway, I am greatly enjoying your comments, thank you! I really think information sharing amongst different people is how we learn, and your comments have been all over the map in terms of your tastes – just showing that no two people are the same!
  • I have a few new recipes on tap for the coming weeks, including a new flavor of “Lara Bar” that I am really excited about. I made them this week, gobbled them up before I could take a photo, and now need to re-make them so I can share them with you next week. Woe is me!
  • Unforeseen issues notwithstanding, this should be the weekend we finish our laundry room remodel, which will serve as our temporary kitchen while we build the kitchen. I am stoked to share this transformation with you – it is quite a change. Hopefully I’ll have that to share next week as well.

Have a great weekend all – I’ll catch you on the flipside!

  • HELP!!! I cannot get my ninja system to work. The bowl will not stay fixed on the base, and the red power light just sits there and blinks at me, sullenly…Do I have a monster in my kitchen? Please advise. Or if you want, email me privately, and I will give you my phone number so we can talk about this…?

    • Hi Cynthia,

I definitely think you need to contact Ninja directly on this one – that is not something I have heard of before.

One thought: When you put the bowl on the base, have you turned it to lock it in place? It doesn’t just drop in like a normal blender, you have to turn it to seat it.

Here is where you can go for Ninja support. If you click on the Live Chat button near the top, they will help you right away (if it’s during their business hours). I have used chat before and they are very helpful.

      Hope that helps,
      Angela
