Ninja Kitchen sells a 4 blade shredder for $ 69.95 my husband gave me the new Ninja Mega this Christmas.
I make a lot in both of the bowl my mashed Potatos were really fluffy ,the smooties great and I am hooked to make German cheesecake like we bake in Germany

I will share the Recipes with u

1. Dough to cover the bottom of a sping Cake pan ( cake pan you open on the side ) I made my dough by hand or u can buy pie crust ‘ if u like to make the cake with out the piecrust cover the botten of pan with some light butter and breadcrumps

250 g flour 2 cups
150 g Butter ,unsalted 1 stick 1 tablespoon
80 g sugar ca 1/3 cup
1 large egg I use cage free eggs

mix ,let cool in fridge for ca 1 h spread on bottom and side of pan .

2 .Batter for chessecake

MIX in Ninja Bowl with dough blender

1 000 g Greek yogurt ( 2 large cups of yogurt drain for ca 1 h ,if you dont drain yogurt use a little less milk)

250 g Sugar ca 1 1/4 cup I use organic coconut sugar ,I mix sugar and milk
450 g Milk ca 2 cups organic milk

3 large Eggs 3 cage free large eggs

20 g unsalted, organic warm butter ,1 Tbl spoon
2 German Pudding if u can get some if not use 1 x 34 oz COOKING pudding vanilla flavor (NO instant pudding) ,take some sugar away from the 250 g since the american pudding has sugar already

add some vanilla flavor , orange peel and some lemon peel to you taste

bake at 350 ca 1 hour or until top is light brown ,check inside cake with a toothpick

you will love this cake ,you also can put fruits on the bottom of the pie crust ,make sure drain juice from fruits

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF U LIKE THE CAKE

I have just bought a ninja mega and am very disappointed because i do not know how to adapt my recipes to use in the ninja machine e.g sponge cake, cakes in general, meat balls, I am wondering if my expectations of the machine are too high. What has annoyed me is that the demonstrator on TV shows all these dishes one can make however fails to give the recipes. I am so frustrated I am thinking of sending it back. Even the support desk people cannot help me.

I am finding all the above information interesting, thank you.

I have a home run bread recipe that I make in the bread maker (http://testkitchentuesday.com/2010/11/23/sweet-honey-french-bread/), but you could use your Ninja Mega to make it. We’re in a full gut remodel right now, and I presently don’t have a stove (or a real kitchen), so the bread making has been a little lacking lately. Here is how you could modify this bread to make in your Mega:

Proof the yeast with the water and sugar in a small bowl, then add 64 ounce food processor bowl with the plastic dough blade. Add the salt, oil, honey, and flour (1 cup at a time) and pulse until the dough is smooth and no lumps remain. Transfer the dough to a lightly-oiled bowl and cover. Let rise for 60-90 minutes, then roll the dough out into the shape of a French loaf and place onto a lightly sprayed cookie sheet, following the rest of the recipe directions.

Hope that helps! Someday soon I will have a kitchen again and can make more thorough baking recipes. 🙂

As for the spinach dip, I don’t have one, but you have given me the idea to try some. Stay tuned!

Angela

I wanted green smoothie. So I put in kale, celery, apple with water first. But it did come out with many bits of kale. The reviews were correct on this. I strained pulp off. Leaving just the green juice. I decided to make a smoothie using frozen strawberries, half banana, almond milk, vegan protein powder, 1/2 cup of yogurt. Then I also added some of the kale juice mixture into smoothie. And it was great.

I am sure you could. If you do this, I would hold off on adding the eggs until the mix is almost done so you don’t get really frothy eggs in the batter.
