We still have a lot of cooking to do around these parts, but here are the recipes that I’ve created or tested here at Test Kitchen Tuesday. “Test Kitchen Tuesday” review recipes are marked with a “TKT.”
Hi Javier, Interesting question. I have not tried this! I don’t have the full KS, only the Ninja Professional Blender, but am thinking you could put it into the blender jar in 1″ chunks and use pulse to grate it. I can’t say this will actually work and do not have a block of cheese right now to confirm, so, let me get back to you on that. If you figure it out, please report back!
I tried out the cheese grating today and am going to write up a full post on it early next week. Bottom line is “yes,” the Ninja will grate cheese, but it’s not exactly the same texture as grated cheese. It’s more like small cheese shreds or chunks, but not strings like true grated cheese. To get the cheese grated, cut it into 2″ cubes and pulse 9-10 times and you’ll be done! If you are going for functional, this will work. If you are going for “looks like grated cheese” a box grater or food processor with the grating blade would probably be better. Hope that helps!
I am sure you could. If you do this, I would hold off on adding the eggs until the mix is almost done so you don’t get really frothy eggs in the batter.
Why, oh why, does it have to be so hard to leave a comment on Blogger?! As @emilylevenson would say, it makes me stabby! 6 days ago

I just bought a 1200 Nija – I tried carrot juice with a little orange juice, but is still grainy – do you have any suggestions.
Thank you,
HI Rose,
Are you straining the juice before you drink it? I recommend putting it through a seive. Check out my post on how to juice with the Ninja here: https://testkitchentuesday.wordpress.com/2011/01/04/getting-juiced-how-to-make-juice-with-a-ninja-blender/
I use carrots as an example in that post!

I tought y9u could use the ninja blender 110 0 like a mixer. Why couldnt you mix a cake with it?
Hi Mare,
