You know, I haven’t, so I can’t really say. My thoughts are that all the Ninjas are relatively the same in that they’re all blenders, so you’re still going to have pulp. Some of them are better at liquefying the pulp than others, and I’d suspect the NutriNinja is better at pulverizing pulp than the Mega due to the blade design. But, if you want pure juice, a traditional juicer is probably the way to go, in addition to a blender for smoothies.

Sorry for the delay!
Angela

I’m looking to purchase a juicer/blender/processor and have been reviewing several. I like the Ninja Mega kitchen, but would prefer a juicer extractor to just the blender. I think. There is so much out there my head is spinning! Your thoughts on the difference between the Mega Kitchen and the 2-in-1?

I haven’t reviewed the Ultima yet. Right now, I don’t have immediate plans to review it, but if I come across it on a good sale, I’ll consider it. I just don’t need yet another Ninja Blender, so it’s a hard sale to my husband! 😉

Thanks for the update!

You know, I have that same problem with my bread maker as well. One thing I sometimes do is use the bread maker to mix, kneed, and let the bread rise the first time, and then, put it into a normal bread pan (or two) into the oven for the second rise and baking. That’s not as efficient, but it does eliminate the oddly-shaped loaf and big hole in the bottom if the blade gets stuck. That’s the only way I’ve really found to eliminate the issue. But, it does take the “set it and forget it” aspect away.

I wanted to let you know my impressions of my bread maker now that I’ve had it for a couple weeks.

I have made several loaves in the bread maker and I do enjoy it very much. My only real complaint is that the kneading blades get stuck in the bread or the bread gets stuck in the machine and I end up with large holes in the bottom of my bread. I’ve started removing them after the 2nd knead, but before the rise, but the bread still sticks to the posts. I don’t really know what to do about this, but it certainly is a bit frustrating.

Other than that, the bread I’ve made has been great!

(I have a new email address, which I’ve used for this post).

If you have any suggestions for getting the bread out of the pan easier, I’d love to hear them.

Janis

I’m glad you found a bread maker to try! There are so many options, I can completely see why you would spend hours reading about them. Definitely please let me know how it works out for you! (And thanks for the link with the further details – I will check it out).

Happy bread making!!

Angela, thanks for your prompt response. After spending literally hours reading about different bread machines, customer reviews, consumer review sites, etc., I have ordered this machine.

West Bend Hi-Rise Breadmaker 41300

It got very good reviews and was fairly inexpensive as well. It should arrive on Tuesday and I’ll try to remember to let you know how it works for me.

Thanks again,
Janis
