That did help a lot Angela!

Silly me to think I could dehydrate using just the sheets. Must have been one of the ( thankfully rare) blonde moments....

Thanks again,

Hi Mit;
For those who choose to buy at BBB I had a similar experience to Mit's . I signed up and all but was not emailed the 20 % coupon. I went on to the store and told them I was an unsatisfied customer and the lady at the desk told me that I didn't look unsatisfied. I guess I could not wipe the smile off my face. Non the lest she checked with her supervisor and comped me the 20 percent without the coupon. I buy tons of stuff there and Maybe it was just plane pity. Just a note about BBB

Watt and horsepower are two ways of stating power. Go to google search window and type "watts to horse power. So 1500 watts is slightly more than 2 horse power. Kim the 2400 is simply your typo of the RPM of the blade. The actual RPM is more like 24000. By the way 1500 watts is precisely why I bought the Ninja Kitchen System. I'm a power freak and you simply cant plug in much more than 1500 watts with out blowing a circuit breaker or fuse. LOL

Hi Anne,

Sorry, I thought you had a dehydrator already. You'll need a dehydrator and the sheets. Each dehydrator brand has a slightly different shape, so, if you want to get into dehydrating, pick out your dehydrator first and then buy the jelly roll sheets (which are indeed plastic). Don't use dehydrator sheets in your oven - they'll melt!

I have a very simple dehydrator ($30) and it works fine. I bought it at Amazon: http://amzn.to/10mr1LW

If you want to make juice pulp crackers in your oven, put it to the lowest temperature and spread the pulp out on a cookie sheet. You'll have to play around with the time required, but it will probably be only 20-30 minutes. I like to dehydrate the crackers because the dehydrator uses so much less power than the oven.

Hope that helps!

One more time, sorry. I have zero knowledge when it comes to dehydrating.
Can I use these:

Open Country Fruit Roll Sheet For Fd75Sk Dehydrator Set Of 2
Plastic - Set

They are in stock at REI; they are plastic though?

Angela - Just to be sure, I just need the sheets, not an actual dehydrator, right?
